One Million Copies of OS X Lion Purchased

Just under 48 hours ago, Apple released their new Operating System called OS X Lion.  With in that 48 hour time period, Apple announced that they sold more than 1 million copies of the amazing new Operating System.  This is crazy because they were all sold and downloaded with the Mac App Store.  What will happen when they release it to stores for the public because some users don't have the Mac App Store! A little quote from Apple's Marketing Chief Phil Schiller:

Lion is off to a great start, user reviews and industry reaction have been fantastic. Lion is a huge step forward, it’s not only packed with innovative features but it’s incredibly easy for users to update their Macs to the best OS we’ve ever made.

At 3.7GB per download, you would be crazy not to purchase OS X Lion.  The download size is fast, not to mention the great price point!  If you haven't downloaded OS X Lion yet, help Apple out and do so! Great job Apple!  Keep up the great work!

OS X Lion "ready" applications begin appearing in the Mac App Store

Many of the rumors appear that today was going to be the launch of OS X Lion. Although many have been disappointed that nothing has been released, don’t lose hope just yet. It’s still Thursday and the day isn’t over. Although things don’t look likely, it’s still a possibility.

A big thing that has caught a bunch of Mac Users off guard is the face that Apple has begun to approve applications in the Mac App Store. Is this normal to include applications that won’t even run on an older operating system?

What do you think about this? Is this a sign that OS X Lion will be appearing VERY soon? Are you excited for the new release? Leave all your thoughts in the comment section.
