Using an iPod touch for Vlogging

Apple launched the iPod touch 5th generation in late 2012, bringing a new amazing front facing camera. It's a 720p FaceTime camera. There are a lot of small cameras good for vlogs, but is the iPod touch 5G a good choice?

If you want to record yourself and post on YouTube, you need a good camera. Canon have cheap ones that record in high definition. But as we know, they are cameras. Just cameras. You will need a computer to transfer, edit and upload your media. That's why I would prefer an iPod. With the Apple device you'll be able to see the display while recording yourself, edit your footage using iMovie for iOS and upload using YouTube Capture app. It's very easy to work this way.

Earpods?

In line with the launch of the iPhone 5, Apple introduces a new uniquely designed earphones, called Earpods.

Same as the previous Apple Earphones, the Apple Earpods have a built-in microphone.

I believe they'll be including this earphones with the next iPhones to come. And as always, Apple will allow you to buy this seperately by a cost, I'm guessing, still $29 or more.

I personally love the design itself, but the performance? Though it's looks are looking awesome, Apple won't let the audio quality out of mind of course.

To talk more about the design, I personally think it looks.. "futuristic" looking. I love it actually.

In the pictures, you'll observe that Apple still keeps the clean and sexy look of the earphones, but you'll see that the hole, where the sound comes out to your ears, are smaller, and vertical. I don't know why, but It makes the earphone more unique and better looking.. and different.

This is Apple's Official Line of the product:

The Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic are designed to rest comfortably inside -- and stay inside -- a variety of ear types. The audio quality is so superior, they rival high-end headphones that cost hundreds of dollars more. And you can use the improved remote to adjust volume, control music and video playback, and answer or end calls on your iPhone.

For more information about the Earpods, you can check out Apple's website itself.

Review: Frosted LCD Screen Protector for iPod touch 4G

Today we are going to be taking a look at one of my favorite screen protectors for the iPod touch 4G. This product is made by BudgetGadgets, which I really want to thank for sending me this amazing product out for review. So after using this product for a month let’s see it’s full and honest review.

In the box you’ll find the screen protector itself and a cleaning cloth. However I wish that the box was including a squeeze also.

The screen protector has two large cut outs for the front facing camera and the home button, which is something I really do like because in case you don’t install it exactly right, you’ll still not have any issues using the home button and the camera. It also has solution in it, which allows you to re-install the screen protector as many times as you want.

Installation process is super easy all you have to do is place the screen protector from the top to the bottom and based on the two cutouts, install it properly. After installing you’ll not have many bubbles, which you can remove them with a credit card by sliding on them with a bit pressure. When I installed the screen protector I did have five bubbles. I removed four of them in a minute and the last one couldn’t be removed because it had a dust particle under the protector.

This screen protector is a bit thicker than the usual ones, which makes it really protecting. You’ll not face any problems installing cases, using your iPod, or even when you leave the iPod facing the ground.

Now let’s take a look at the benefits and cons of the product.

Benefits: Easy installation process, very protecting, with the screen protector on you can install every case you want, the user have the option to re-install the screen protector as many times he/she wants, it has two large cut outs for the front camera and home button which gives you full access to both of them, the user can easily remove the bubbles and it has a very affordable price.

Cons: The box could include a squeeze to help the customer remove the bubbles easier, but it’s not a big deal since the customer can use a credit card or a piece of cardboard to remove them.

Overall I give this product a 10/10 rating because it really has everything that a screen protector needs to have and it costs only 1$ with free shipping worldwide!
