Goldeneye Source Review

Do you remember the good old days of the Nintendo 64? It was a classic 64-bit system that seemed to be revolutionary in the gaming market not just for its library of games but the new concept of 3D Graphics. However, there is one game I remember the most on the Nintendo 64, and that was 007 Goldeneye. This was one of my favorite first person shooters of that time next to doom. It was a breath of fresh air with a whole new concept for the genre, but what I remember the most about it was the constant hours of fun with the multiplayer mode that me and my brother had. Although we had a lot of fun with the classic version of the game, one problem I soon found out is that the graphics and the controls didn’t age well. But that is okay, because a couple years ago I was told about a half-life 2 mod that actually was a HD remake of the Goldeneye game, and that’s what we will be looking into today. So this video is for those who have a copy of half-life 2 but don’t know what to do with it after beating it.

Crush The Castle Review

Do you remember the Angry Birds game review I did not long ago? In that review I mentioned a game just like it that was the possible inspiration behind angry birds. That game that was mentioned was called “Crush the Castle”. I had a lot of things happen to me this week, so I thought it would be a good idea to sit at my desk and play this game again. So today we are going to be talking about one of my favorite classic flash games. Again, this game might be the inspiration behind Angry Birds, so it plays much like it. So all you have to do is kill all the guards while destroying everything in the process. A fun and addictive Physics game in other words. So let’s dive right in and get started shall we?

Drivers Ed Review

Today I’ve decided to take a look into one of my favorite classic flash games “Drivers Ed”. When I was grade school I did find myself enjoying more flash based games more than console games because of the convenience of having them in the computer lab and the games usually consisted of my sense of humor. Drivers Ed is one of those “Let’s try to be a learning tool” kind of games, which is half way succeeded. It’s a fun to play game where you can attempt your driver’s licensee by completing the set amount of tests. It’s a very simple concept, and you’d think that this would be an easy game to complete, right? Well let’s get into the main killer of the game for me.

Chrome Apps Episode 6: Flow Colors (Video)

Have you ever had one of those days where you just feel down in the dumps? Last week there were a lot of things going on through my head and I needed something to do to take my mind off of things. I remember reading an article saying that people should play a game of Tetris to forget some kind of trauma that they may be experiencing. The reason to this is because if you play a game of Tetris it makes you focus on the organization portion of your brain making you think more quickly on getting the pieces in the right order rather than whatever event you may be having problems with. I took that advice into mind and started to browse the Google Chrome App Store. I went straight for the games and found one right on top of the list called “Flow colors”. At first I thought the game looked familiar but then I remembered it was a game one of my friends showed me on their Ipad. So I already knew how fun this game was...

Abobo's Big Adventure

The power of flash can be amazing at times. When you have the right mindset and a set goal you try to use the program you’re used to just to see how far you can stretch it. Abobo’s big adventure is a good example of the power of flash and what it can do for you. But this article isn’t about Flash. Oh no, this article is about one of the best fan made games made in flash. Abobo’s big adventure was made by Roger Barr and friends as a dedication/tribute to the golden era of the NES days. Today there are a lot of people doing NES game reviews or just looking back at the past to preserve their childhood. If those people were to play this game today, it would seem like a breath of fresh air and a blast to the past. If you have some free time I would highly recommend you play the game.
